Urban Museum and Gallery, Engen close to Lake Constance

Urban Museum and Gallery, Engen

Engen, Germany

With its archaeology department, urban history, religious art and various art exhibitions, the Urban Museum and Gallery in Engen has earned itself an excellent reputation beyond the region. To complement the Ice Age park, the entire family can visit the prehistory department and watch an accompanying video entitled “Reindeer hunters in Brudertal” which illustrates life 15,000 years ago. The famous “Venus of Engen” also dates from this period. Consequently, the history of discovery, significant finds and much more from the Petersfels are presented in detail. During special exhibitions, a different admission price applies
